"I stayed at the Tenuta Torre Diana hotel for a couple of nights last weekend, using it as a base for travel to the Grand Prix. All of my expectations were blown away! The hotel is absolutely *gorgeous*, packed full of history and character. Every room I went in had its own story to tell. I had booked a room with a single bed, being on my own, but the manager had decided to upgrade my stay to one of their double rooms at no charge, which was hugely appreciated. Conversations in the corridors and stairwells echoed around the whole building. Smokers' cigarette smoke somehow drifted into my room. WiFi was non-existent. In summary, bad hotel for business travellers....

"Fantastic stay for work and relaxation. Room was large and comfortable with shutters at the patio door so nice and dark in the mornings.Reception staff was very helpful when we did not arrive until 1am. The pool area was large with lots of sunbeds so no fighting over where to sit. Great staff throughout especially at the pool bar. The only thing that could have been improved was the air conditioning in the room as was not very effective. "
