"They upgraded our room so we had a mini suite and it was nice. Beachfront is difficult to enter the water. Go to the beach to the left as you face the water. Pool is very small for a larger resort. Buffet had a lot of choices but the a lot of the same food for all three meals (many breakfast items that we would consider lunch or dinner). Most buffet hot items were cold by the time you served yourself, even if you were there at the start. We enjoyed the wine on tap! Biggest issue for us is...

"Amazing Makarska beachside hotel with lovely refreshing pool and seconds away from long pebble beach along which there were loads of restaurants and bars. Had good size beautifully positioned seaview balcony with agave-style plants overlooking the pool and the sea. We booked half board option and had great buffet food for breakfast and evening. "We were on the 5th floor with a sea view and it was beyond what we expected! The balcony and view were amazing, the apartment was spacious and modern, all windows had automatic shutters to block out light making it easy to sleep. The balcony had a rack to dry your bathing suits and towels which was great. The swimming pool was perfect for the kids and the beach was right in front of the hotel (the water is stunning, warm and clean!!). The staff was amazing and so kind for check in and check out....

Once inside the hotel is beautiful. Rooms are very small - NYC small, and double room is two twin beds ( together or apart). "The stay was really great. The service was excellent and the staff very helpful and service minded. It is a small hotell but despite this the breakfast selection was excellent.
The pool was a great plus even if the beach is really close with a few minutes walk. The only downside was the small number of sunbeds. But overall a great place to spend our holiday. "

and restaurant are really nice. Our room was great too! The only thing that we didn’t like is that the hotel is right next to the church and the bells ring very loudly (sometimes at 4am and 6am) and so we were woken by this on the Sunday and the Tuesday. "

"Excellent food, great verity for everyone breakfast and dinner. Friendly helpful staff. Two pool areas with lots of sun beds. Nice walk into Makarska. Beer prices were reasonable especially compared to Dubrovnik. We got upgraded to superior room which was huge and very comfortable bed. Highly recommend and we plan on returning "

"We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms have been recently refurbished so are fantastic, and the restaurant is well known on the island as a great place to eat. Only 12 rooms means it’s quiet by the pool and you can always get a lounger, and the breakfast is quality and HUGE - we didn’t need it every day. Thank you!"
