The largest night market in the world!

The mammoth Chatuchak Market fills up every weekend, but if you come shopping on Friday you’ll benefit more as vendors begin setting up their stalls around 9 pm. Expect to find much of the same stock as you’ll see in the day on Saturday and Sunday, but with less heat and fewer people.

Ratchayothin Night Market is located in the northern part of the city. Items on sale here are a bit trendier. Located next to the Major Ratchoyothin Movie Theater and IMAX complex, you can catch a flick before or after you shop. A few bargain outlets and eateries are also in the vicinity.
The easiest way to get to the market is to catch the MRT subway to Phahonyothin Station before hailing a tuk tuk (tell the driver to take you to ‘talat’ (market) Major Ratchoyothin). Bus number 543 also swings by here, or take a taxi from BTS Mo Chit station directly to the market.
