First time & happy with the hotel. Little outdated nothing fancy. The food variety is limited at the buffet. Front desk instead on time share which too much when u just want to check in. Staff the restaurant where great & room service was a plus.

There is no variety in the lunch menu. During the 5 days of my stay, it was always the same. I never found a variety to choose from, and the photos of the property are from 20 years ago.
It has a nice wet area and the staff is excellent.

Rooms smell musty. Bugs in room. We got eaten alive. Noisy water truck coming at midnight and 4am. Very very loud. Tooooo many kids. Pool was full of kids couldn’t enjoy it. No live entertainment. No bars/lounges. Everything shut down 10:30 sharp. Breakfast buffet had birds climbing all over the food. Eating it. Pooping in the food. Breakfast was lacking. No bacon or sausages or scrambled eggs. Husband got food poisoning from the breakfast buffet and spoke to 3 other guests that got sick as well. He spent 2 days in bed because of it. Also was not prepared for the amount of harassment we received to go “see” their flamingo resort. Only to have wasted an entire day being sold time shares. That was brutal. $50 spa credit has total stipulations and can only be used against treatments $175 or more! Also made a purchase of lobster not included in my package and paid a big cash tip to my waiter. The resort also charged me a big tip to my room which they refused to credit. Will definitely go RUI Palace or air b&b next time.

El hotel me encantó, está impecable, la comida muy rica, la zona de postres inmejorable! Solo sentí demasiado fría el agua de la alberca. Beautiful pools, clean rooms, food at El patron was fantastic as well as the cocktails. The seafood and Italian place are buffet. Was nice to have poolside service while out by the pool, but felt like overall at the restaurants or poolside, the service was a bit slow. Found myself ready for the check and waiting a long time before a server would come back around to check on us. Overall pretty good experience. Very clean and nice staff

We just arrived back home after a week log vacation at Villa Del Palmar and we all had a great time! The food was excellent and the service was great ..with housekeeping, at the pool and at the restaurants! Our daughter celebrated her birthdat there and the Alberto the concierge made her birthday extra special..with bringing her a cake at the pool and doing a group Happy Birthday song and then arenging for our room to be decorated for her birthday!! We were so impressed all the details. She even got a birthday cake made of of towels on the bed with balloons and a birthday message sprinkled out of small rocks on her bed! For the adults we made it a daily routine to get our morning coffees and some crepes in the lobby and then sit by the pool or the beach while the teenagers slept in . We enjoyed the food although some people in our party would prefer more variety at the buffet as it did seem similar after a few days which I can"t disagree with. As we are big into eating japanese food back home Ive never beem impressed with japanese food in Mexico but while itnwasnt truly authentic the food itself was very good and we ended up eating at the Japanese restaurant multiple times. Overall i would highly recommend this resort and would visit again

Food menu was not great for kids. Buffet menu was the same every night and most times when we went the food was cold or tasted old. Most other resorts change up menu/theme nights. All inclusive guests should not have to wait and sign the bill every time. That felt very frustrating. Japanese and Mexican restaurants were good but seafood restaurant was not very tasty. Felt that should have been an a la cart.

The staffs are attentive, very friendly and professional. Carlos and crew at the Trattoria are very accommodating with excellent service. By day 3, they would already know your preferred breakfast drinks and would be served right after you are seated. 1st time visiting Puerto Vallarta and could not wait to visit again.
