I have to share that one night I forgot my purse at one of the bar/restaurants - it was late in the evening. I didnt realize I left it u til the next morning tho - thinking it would be gone I still asked the front desk - they told me to wait & a security guy came out w my purse!!! I was so relieved, happy & impressed it wa still there. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The property is quite clean and sufficiently big. Even though rooms are older, our room did not seem run down as stated in other reviews and had a decent amount of space even though it was the most basic one Most staff was friendly and helpful except 2 around the pool area. Some cool activities happening all the time, so it didn’t make the stay boring The restaurants did not need reservations and you could walk in just like that The quality of liquor was good and not diluted Some areas of improvements- The food could have some variety. The ‘Italian’ restaurant they have only serves breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets( not Italian) so no Ala carte options there. So don’t say you have an Italian restaurant. The mexican restaurant had barely any vegetarian options which seemed strange. The staff didn’t even want to attempt to make something vegetarian for you (other restaurants in mexico would always make something vegetarian for you if requested). The buffet food got very repetitive They themselves don’t follow the schedule for restaurants that’s put up so its better to check what’s open for that day

the staff is absolutely wonderful: servers, restaurants, cleaning staff. so thoughtful and helpful. the food was amazing in all the restaurants and the buffets overwhelming. the property was kept VERy clean constantly, as were our rooms. can’t say enough about the service staff. lots to do and entertainment was great. lived band, mexican night and the fires show. pickelball courts, great gym, pools and beach with kayaks etc. easy to jump in a bus or uber around town. make sure you. bring cash apparently 3 per cent (not 15percent) is divided between all service employees and like all mexicans they work a 6 days week for terribly low wages!! they are so grateful for a few dollar tips. be smart at the membership breakfast: if it’s Too good to be true it probably is. do your research before attending and read the better business bureau reviews..!! or don’t go! had a wonderful week

Nice property, good value. Some high pressure during check in for attending a seminar at another property (promise its only 2hours!). More focus on that than actually sharing information on the resort, wifi, restaurants, and check out process, etc... ended up missing out on check out by their timeline. They only reached out to us after to let us know we had been charged the equivalent of 2 full days stay. Honestly a cash grab, and put a bad taste on the whole trip. Also the expedia tour credit was hard to use, the resort tried insisting it could only be applied if you visited the other property seminar... in general the resort staff (rooms restaurants) was great if you stayed away from the front desk- the ones on commision (youll recognize them by the immediate sales pitch to visit the other resort).

First time visiting Puerto Vallarta

Great location to Uber into Malecon. Food was nice but we did try exploring outside for tacos. Alcoholic drinks were fabulous. Staff was nice and attentive. Pools were great. Beach access was nice to enjoy the views and we managed to see whales breaching the water. 10/10 would rebook with this hotel.

The rooms are in need of updating but we were told the whole resort is being demolished and replaced. What a shame. We absolutely love the resort and the classic feel. The grounds are meticulously maintained and beautiful. I guess you have to keep up with progress.
