We checked in at the close by sister hotel. We were early, so we left our bags until we could check in. The staff was wonderful—very pleasant and helpful. The room was ready early. One of the staff walked us over to our hotel and carried our bags.

We parked a car in front of hotel. 1 night - 25 euro. Good rate . Stayed in sweet room .. had to walk 100 meter after check in . B/F room was small but good staffs . You can order foods. Very hot inside dining.. after asked air conditioning, everything was good .specially coffee was excellent.

This is a great place to stay. It's walkable to all of the major sites and steps away from restaurant row and lovely bars. The room we stay in had a funky round bed, which was comfortable. The apt is in a courtyard overlooking a 15th century church. The only nits for me: the in-room safe didn't work and the shower area doesn't have a ton of privacy. But otherwise, this is a real find!

The property is really nice and the rooms are big and comfortable. This place could have been a five star if not for the noise of the train in front of my room. The train runs all night and my wife and I barely slept the first night. The staff are wonderful and the service. I will choose this property again but stay on the other side of the building.

What a hidden gem!! Location was unparalleled - you had the beauty of the church and a square in Brera the moment you stepped outside the door. About 10 min from the train station to the airport. Roy greeted us and checked us in - he was a delight and super helpful (also super professional). The unique provided so many complimentary yummy treats and snacks - it was incredible and unprecedented. We LOVED staying at the Unqiue and will definitely be back on our next trip to Milan.

Surprisingly Amazing!

Strange but Amazing experience. Overall product is superb. Super clean, super elegant room - similar to a Peninsula-Mandarin Oriental-Ritz. Hotel consists of 4 rooms on the 1st floor within a commercial/residential building. Location is excellent. Quiet area with a small piazza. Close to all attractions by foot within 10-20 minutes walk tops. Great local restaurants nearby 3 minutes away in Brera. If you’re independent, this is perfect. No 24 hour lobby, bellman front desk attendant. Only by phone- not sure how that works but was not needed for my stay.

Beautiful room, great location but very noisy

Beautiful room, well styled, generous minibar and great location. The lady that greeted us was very friendly as well. Beyond the initial greeting there isn’t any staff at reception. The building is acoustically terrrible, I had a 6.:30am wake up for a flight and only managed to get 2 hours sleep because it was so noisy. I could hear every person arrive back to their room at all hours of the night and a woman in the room above was pacing in high heels on the tiled floor until around 1am. External noise was loud as well. Could hear cars and commotion. I also wasn’t a fan of the lack of privacy with the bathroom, it has a thin privacy sticker and is all glass. The shower also drips large amounts of water regularly during the night which wakes you up. Getting a plumber for the shower, better translucent films for the bathroom, rugs on the floors to absorb noise and some acoustic treatments to shared walls could fix most of this. The doors could also have an acoustic seal or something added as well. Those elements being addressed I would stay again. I’ve stayed at other hotels without a manned reception and a WhatsApp chat resolves this quite well. Where you just message the management with any issues.

First, the staff is amazing! The guest coordinator Alessandra was SO incredibly helpful! A week before arrival she checked in to see if we needed anything before arrival, such as transportation or anything in particular. I asked her a bunch of questions which she kindly and patiently answered. The day before arrival I texted her through WhatsApp to ask that they please have the AC on since our Hilton Lake Como AC wasn’t working and for three nights we couldn’t sleep in our sauna of a room. She assured me she’d have the front desk Mr Roy would see to it. Secondly, the hotel itself is adorable, only four rooms I think, located in a beautiful area of Milan, with lots of historical areas, restaurants and stores. It’s a 12 minute walk to Milan Cathedral and the shopping area Galleria, about 15 minutes from Da Vinci’s Last Supper. I’d read when booking, but forgot that it is located left of the Cathedral del Carmine. So when you arrive, when you are standing in front of the Cathedral del Carmine in the square/piazza, the sign for #6 The Unique is to the LEFT. It’s a small sign, so just walk to the far left corner from the front of the church/cathedral. There’s a code box there at the door. But Alessandra and Mr Roy were so helpful and accommodating. The room, beautifully designed, looks newly renovated and is modern, beds were comfy and towels, toiletries and a complimentary mini fridge with drinks were left for us. Overall, 10/10!

This was our 2nd booking with Unique. Everything was perfect—beautiful room, clean, comfortable. The housekeepers were so helpful and friendly. But the most significant part of our stay was the incredibly helpful reception staff. The day before our checkout, my husband had a medical emergency. The staff flew into action—they got an ambulance to rush him to the hospital. And then they made arrangements for me to stay in the same room for the entire time my husband was hospitalized. To do that they had to rearrange some other bookings. During the entire time of my husband’s hospitalization they were very solicitous of me, especially arranging for taxis to take me to the hospital. I am so grateful for their support. It was so scary being in a foreign country under the circumstances. They made it easier.

Outstanding stay. I was a little hesitant to book here based on some old and less positive reviews, but this is one of the best hotel stays we have had. The room was spacious and extremely well appointed with really great amenities included, that other hotels charge for. The staff was over the top helpful and friendly. Their arrangement with the Unique Hotel made check-in seamless and really simple and convenient. Located at the back of a small piazza it is super quiet and wonderfully close to the major sites and shopping. For the cost, I would not stay anywhere else in Milan. Outstanding!

Beautiful apartment in Verona, perfect location.

We had a lovely stay here. The location is perfect and the apartment was recently remodeled and is very comfortable and clean. The service and communication was excellent. We stayed for one night on our way to the Dolomites but I wish we could have stayed longer.
