This hotel had many good features. The rooms were immaculately clean, the bedlinen was good quality and smelt delicious, good lighting in the room, shampoo, showergel and soap good, bathmat in bathroom and some thought had gone in to the decor in the rooms. However, although clean the shower room had rotting skirting boards, the bedside table and desk were cheap and showing wear. The view from the window over a derelict flatroof building was unappealing and the carpark had a lot of litter lying about. The night porter was nowhere to be seen when we left at 8am and there was no bell to summon anyone so we just left our key cards on the reception desk. Most disappointing was that they no longer served breakfast, despite it being advertised as included when we booked through Expedia. That was one thing that attracted us to this hotel. It wasn't on the order confirmation so there was a miscommunication somewhere and we don't feel we got what we thought we paid for. Wouldn't go back.
