A gem!

We stayed over a few days early at Locale before getting into our time share. The location was great, the service was outstanding (thank you Alison!), the breakfast was first class, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. They also provided towels, beach bags, chairs, umbrellas and more. So accommodating. This is a very unassuming gem on 7 Mile Beach.

Perfect location and amenities

So glad we found this place! The location was perfect on Seven Mile Beach. We could walk to food, shopping, and the beach. The free breakfast options filled us up till dinner. The convenience of beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas made the beach time a breeze. Room was large and comfortable with dinnerware stocked. Not mention the crafe of Tap water in the fridge was awesome. Who needs bottles when you have great tasting tap water. Staff was pleasent and offered great suggestions. Plus some of the island interest (turtles and string ray operators) will pick you up right at the hotel free of charge.

Loved Locale!

The food at Bonfire was so good that we ate there 3 times! Tyler (I think that was her name) spoke to us as we left. She seemed genuinely concerned with our experience. The room was comfortable and clean. I got a massage and pedicure at Spacation, we got ice cream at Scoops, and we made purchases at the shop. Each staff person we encountered greeted us with a smile and kind word. The cleaning personnel were very accommodating to our erratic schedule! We walked nearly everywhere while visiting and enjoyed eating at Cimboco across the street. There were many restaurants/food stands! If I could change one thing it would be to lower the thermostat by another degree or two. It’s locked at 72 or above. However, it was a pleasant stay and amazingly priced for the location. Overall this was a fantastic place to stay!! If you’re on the fence, do it. Locale is wonderful!

Staff are lovely and welcoming - and very helpful. Rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable, including nice pillows. Showers are roomy and bathrooms very clean. Close to many good restaurants and shops. Walkable to Camana Bay and beach (near The Sovereign). Hotel itself is not on the beach, but we drive to our preferred beaches or walk to the beach using the public path near The Sovereign. A short drive to the Fosters at Camana Bay for groceries. Good parking behind the hotel. Pool and exercise area small but perfectly formed. Nice beach towels, beach chairs, beach bags and water toys/floats available, so you can go to the beach of your choice. All Cayman beaches are public up to the high water mark. So, you have your choice of where to stop for a swim/beach day. Ice available to take picnic to the beach (there is a cooler space in back of beach chairs). Full breakfast included - lots of choice in the included menu. Scoops ice cream (awesome Devon I Scream) is in the building. They have other wonderful desserts including the best carrot cake I have had. We have stayed twice and will stay again next year. Like the solar power through panels on the roof.
