We stayed for two nights for a wedding in the area and couldn't have picked a better place. Nestled in a lovely, peaceful part of Devon, the B&B was very comfortable. What truly stood out was the hospitality: our hosts were amazingly friendly and full of engaging stories and helpful local insights. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious both mornings. An ideal pied-à-terre for a Devon getaway—thank you so much!

We stayed with Sharon and Steve while walking the Two Moors Way and they were brilliant from start to finish. They went above and beyond to look after us, nothing was too much trouble after a long day on the trail. The food was excellent, proper home-cooked breakfast that was exactly what we needed to refuel. Sharon and Steve are genuinely lovely hosts, warm, welcoming and easy to talk to. The location is great and we'd happily stay again and would recommend them to anyone passing through.

We ended up staying at the property in the super cute shepherds hut as a real last minute get away and we couldn’t have had a nicer place to stay. From check in to check out everything was really easy and the host Sharon was such a warm and helpful host. When we arrived Sharon explained everything we needed for a great stay including some really helpful local knowledge about where to eat etc. The shepherds hut is set in the most tranquil and beautiful setting which resulted in a real restful break for myself and my husband. The hut was really spotlessly clean and so well equipped with everything you could need. The homemade shortbread was absolutely delicious and the breakfast bits such a nice touch. The most delicious sausage and eggs which we enjoyed sitting outside listening to the birds. Would definitely return. Thanks Sharon for a wonderful break in your lovely shepherds hut.

Lovely people and good location for my needs

Nice venue clean. I had booked an ensuite but when I got there they were full. But room was nice. Only advice would be to get a bigger TV it was very small.

Steve and Sharon were very lovely hosts. The manor is in a beautiful location. I look forward to returning one summer day and reserving the self-contained outdoor unit. It looks adorable. Beautiful property and very delicious breakfast cooked to order. I don't want to forget to mention the homemade shortbread cookie that was on my tea tray upon arrival...yum! I had a morning meeting at Dame Hannah and had the weather been nicer and had I had less luggage, I could have walked. Sharon as kind enough to give me a ride. It was nice not to have to wait for a taxi.
