Comfortable but dated hotel with loud bar below.

Great location, convenient for travelling to and from the airport via Rialto ferry stop. Very close to the Rialto bridge. Great view over the grand canal if you have a room on that side. Check in and out was easy. Breakfast was basic continental, it's not going to win any prizes but it's good. Staff are friendly. The biggest issue and the reasons for the low star reviews is 1. The room was extremely tired, scratched, water damage, skirting and walls worn. The head board was worn. Room needs major overhaul, wasn't impressed with state of the room considering what we paid, and it was very dark, with some light bulbs out of action. 2. If you are overlooking the grand canal there is a very very loud "band" playing until midnight, you could feel the bass coming through the floor. It is also noisy in the morning from 5am with the bin boats and god knows what making loud noises, wouldn't be so much of a concern if you could get to sleep before midnight.

Unique boutique hotel

Awesome location near Rialto bridge right near the Grand canal, plenty of shopping and restaurants close by and the front desk employee Caroline was very helpful from the moment we stepped through the doors. Breakfast was fresh and delicious just not a lot of variety. Hotel room clean and appearance of what you would expect of a boutique hotel however the air conditioning did not work and it got a little hot in the room but the windows opened up let in a breeze. Not many plugs for electronic charging so bring a converter with USB slots. No microwave in the room only mini fridge and light coffee and tea. Safe in room large enough for tablet and laptop. Water taxi pick up and drop off right near hotel which is convenient especially with large luggage on cobblestone streets. Paid $150 euro for private water taxi to airport front desk arranged for us for 5am pickup. Overall staff great, accomodations nice and great location would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Recepção agradável, nos deu muitas dicas do que fazer pela cidade. Quartos confortáveis com banheiro enorme e bem equipado. O café da manhã simples, mas delicioso, a funcionária do café que falava espanhol e inglês foi muito amorosa comigo e meu noivo. Schöne Tage in Venedig

Sehr freundliches Personal, vorallem Sanaa von der Réception und die Frühstücksladys. Im Zimmer ist alles, was man braucht. Frühstück gibt es eine gute Auswahl und feinen Kaffee. Die Lage vom Hotel ist toll, per Boot vom Flughafen bis Rialto, über die Brücke und man ist da. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

A Boutique Hotel with Great View

A lovely stay at this charming hotel on the Grand Canal. We had a Grand Canal View Room and we could see the Rialto Bridge from our room which was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with our needs. Great central location and easy to get the water taxi (Alilaguna) to and from the airport, literally across the canal. The room itself was comfortable with lovely pillows and a great size, but could do with a paint touch up due to some marks on the walls. Be aware that due to its location, there are restaurants below you that play live music. They stopped by 11pm but something to be aware of. Overall, a great hotel and would be happy to stay here again next time we visited Venice!
