Spare yourself the nightmare! The first room was missing the closet rod to hang clothes. They moved us to another room where it proceeded to flood while I was in the shower. We moved once again to another room. All this occurred during our first evening there! I inadvertently left one tennis shoe (Brooks) but, since I had another pair, I did not notice it was missing until I got home. My husband and I were at the hotel for three whole days and my missing shoe was not made known to me. They had to have found it while they were mopping up the previous room we had occupied.
After arriving at home and realizing I had left it there, I called the management. I described my tennis shoe by color, brand, and size. The woman confirmed that it was there but said they could not mail it to me. I explained that my daughter was to pick it up for me and was traveling quite the distance. I asked for the woman’s name so my daughter could ask for her directly. She refused to identify herself and hung up on me when I insisted.
When my daughter arrived, they could not produce the shoe and were rude to her. She left empty handed, nothing to show for her time and effort.
