the room was splendid and prestine. staff were all courteous and helpful. although the breakfast buffet seemed to have been absent of pomelo like there used to be.

Very nice hotel - beautifully looked after and nice big clean rooms. Good gym, nice bar, great breakfast. The only reason for 4/5 is the fact that despite being on the coast there are no views. My room looked into an industrial area. Nevertheless, if I was in Davao again I would stay here.

Check in wasn't great - assigned the wrong room with adjoining noisy neighbours. Was corrected but only after showing my booking and them blaming Expedia. Breakfast was good, but wasn't kept supplied. Staff did the basics but nobody went out of their way. Overall, it was fine but nothing special to make me stay again.

For a four or five star hotel the employees were extremely unhelpful and didn't seem to want to do anything for the guests. My balcony was covered with bird poop and was never clean the entire week I was there. It was completely unusable.
I tried to book the day pass for the beach club that they have at their sister hotel and was told to use the app to book it. At a high end hotel I would expect guest services to handle these things for me. I downloaded the app which then referred me to the front desk to book the beach club for the day pass.
I will never stay at a Dusit property again after the poor service I received here.

I recently stayed at Dusit D2 Davao and found it to be a pleasant experience. The hotel offers easy parking and is conveniently located, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. I felt safe and secure throughout my stay. However, the dining staff could benefit from being more attentive to guests, particularly when it comes to food and water refills. Overall, it’s a solid option with room for improvement in service.

This has been the worst hotel check-in experience I’ve ever had. Our booking confirmation was for three Deluxe King City View rooms with king-size beds, but upon arrival, the agent informed us that each room only had two twin beds instead. Check-in was supposed to be at 2:00 PM, yet only one room was ready at that time. We had to wait another two hours for the second room, and the third wasn’t available until 2 hours and 45 minutes later.
When I raised my concerns, the agent explained that the delay was due to guests checking out late and housekeeping running behind. I asked to speak with the manager and requested a discount as compensation, but the manager never acknowledged or addressed my request.
