Piece of old Kimberley

Loved this hotel - steeped in history, a little "tired" in places, but service was outstanding - we ate in the restaurant for dinner and it was superb! Great room with a balcony to sit and watch the sun go down! Parking is secure, across the road from the hotel. Breakfast on the patio was really good.

I did not even get a chance to spend a night in the Hotel because it was closed since the lockdown. I remained stranded in the night until the police came and assisted me in getting accommodation for the night. All thanks to HOTEL.COM

Beautiful and historic building however the rooms were not well cleaned and the outdoor balcony space was in a terrible state, cans all over the place and an extraordinary amount of chewed gum all over the floor... We also had a terrible night sleep as the room next door to us was having a bit of a party at 2am and smoking and drinking on the balcony. We had to twice ask the duty manager to ask them to keep it down.
