Lovely little cabin on a farm with everything you need. Beautiful views from the back porch. We really enjoyed our stay, our daughter had lots of fun playing with the friendly dogs on the farm. We even saw the northern lights whilst we were there. It was a really peaceful place and we would definitely stay there again. It’s a good base for exploring both the golden circle and the south coast.

This was our favorite lodging while in Iceland! The owner was responsive and welcoming. The small house was incredibly clean and well supplied with everything we needed while there for three nights. The view was STUNNING! We saw the northern lights, watched horses, and played with the farm dogs! There was a good little pizza place about five minutes away and a grocery store and other stores about 10 minutes away.

Our host was fantastic! Even though we arrived later in the evening, he was very friendly, and patiently explained everything (the locks, check-out procedure, etc.). There was even a guide on the table, in case we forgot anything. The apartment itself was very clean and spacious. The location is a bit isolated (though safe), but that means it's very quiet and great for viewing the Northern Lights.

I really enjoyed staying here. It was extremely peaceful. I had one of the dogs sit on the porch with me and I got to see the horses and sheep. The bed was either very comfy or I was just exhausted from my adventures. Probably both! I would stay here again for sure. Convenient location for sight seeing!
