I recently stayed at the Fallow Field in Telford and while the room itself was comfortable, I encountered a few issues that affected my experience. I booked through Hotels.com and chose the ‘pay at property’ option, but the hotel charged my card a day before arrival, which was quite inconvenient since it was the wrong card. Additionally, I requested a VAT invoice at check-in and was told it could only be issued at check-out. Since I checked out early in the morning before the front desk opened, I was advised to request it later via message. Unfortunately, despite multiple messages over two weeks, I have not received any response or the VAT invoice. This lack of communication and failure to provide a VAT invoice is disappointing.
