We checked in at 3pm. When we went up to the assigned room, we found that it hadn't been turned over yet. Beds slept in, towels everywhere etc. We went down and got assigned a different room. When we checked in, there was no hot water. We ran the hot water in both sink and tub for over 5 minutes with no change. Went down to report this and was told they would notify maintenance. Was also told that we would need to run the water for 10 minutes minimum to get hot water. Front desk staff weren't particulary friendly.
I accidentally spilled some water from our cooler on the floor by the room entrance, so I wiped it up with a couple of towels. When I did the towels revealed a LOT of dirt on the floor (they were so dirty and gross!!). We waited a couple of hours and no maintenance person so we had to leave for the Guardians' baseball stadium. Got back from the game and I checked with front desk and they couldn't tell me whether maintenance came or not, but that "they probably had to reset the water." Next morning I went to take a shower and even after 10 minutes there was no hot water. At the end of my very cool shower the hot water FINALLY kicked in. Breakfast was adequate, though I've had better during my stay at a different chain while on our trip.
