Very Frustrating situation
We arrived at the hotel on the afternoon to check in, only to find the door chained. The sister hotel contacted us and said they had to move our location due to a 'Maintenance issue'. They didn't give us any advance notice, as our driver dropped us off and left, and the new location was farther away. The hotel agreed to give us a full refund, but we are still fighting with Expedia to get that refund, a week later. I understand that things happen, but Expedia should be notified by the hotels on their site, when they can no longer provide the service paid for.
