The hotel is currently undergoing some renovation which means no access to balconies for ANY room (not just the ones they are currently working on). You cannot even open sliding doors to watch & hear the surf from inside the room during our temperate spring weather. Pool area is also closed, which means to get to the beach, you have to walk through the parking lot and use a public access that is at the end of the street beside the hotel.
First room they put me in, the in-room safe was left locked and they could not unlock it, refrigerator did not work, a light bulb was out, and the clock was unplugged for which I had to move the mattress to get to the outlet. Second room had no in-room safe, no clock at all, and stopper in bathroom sink did not work. No lightening for bathroom vanity. The only light is overhead and behind you so you have to apply makeup, shave, whatever with your face in a shadow.
At least the bed was very comfortable and it had a good desk work area.
I had stayed there before. This visit was very disappointing.
