I couldn’t even stay there. The place reeked of cigarette smoke. Then I spotted a roach crawling along the wall beside the bed and in the bathroom floor. Took a video and showed the front desk clerk, she said a manager would come talk to me…no one ever came or called. Ended up checking out and was told I’d be refunded. Trust me…you do NOT want to lay your head anywhere near this place!

The initial room (319) was cold - the unit that was suppose to provide heat only blew out cold air regardless of the setting - management made aware and sent a man who came and hit it with a hammer which did not fix it- bathroom towels clothes and shower curtain dirty - blind on window detached from track - after many complaints to OWNER room was charged at midnight Changed to 411 where heat worked and bath linen was clean but there was no handle on the shower to turn on the water to have showers after the long day- stay was with 3 minor children- OWNER made aware RESPONSE WAS HE WOULD DEAL WITH IT IN THE MORNING and he left property- the bedding was dirty and had what looked like urine stains on the pillow cases - dirty baby socks found tucked between pillow and made up bed After contacting several people the next morning the room was changed late in the afternoon to room 426 which had clean linen heat and a handle on the shower however we noticed a roach and his buddies hanging out around the sink - I felt defeated and promised to be as vocal as possible about this dump and the HORRIBLE CONDITIONS The main reason for selecting this property was the pool which was DISGUSTING! The lake up the road was cleaner for my kids to wet their feet in. Hotels.com should send out people to visit these places before associated with them! This hotel has to do better and if you can you are better off at the MOTEL across the street

At ck in,I asked to see the room,the manager was rude in saying he doesn't ALLOW that,and suggested I not stay there,based surroundings,old mattress out by front entrance,the smell mold, I took his advice and my sister and I left.

The property was in disrepair and the staff was unable to change our rooms until after 11pm when we checked in at 4pm and told the rooms were unacceptable. There was no pool the fitness room were not in working order . Basically the hotel lacked staff that were able to address any issues. I have used hotels .com several times in the past and never had such a bad experience. I can not recommend this hotel for any price .

Our stay was horrendous. This was my third year in a row booking a room here. The first year was an average stay, not great but not bad. Last year was weird.. like shady characters hanging around and the elevators were broken down (staff didn’t even bother letting us know at check in) so we were hauling luggage up and down stairs. The cheaper price had me booking a third year in spite of these minor things. But never again. DO NOT STAY HERE! I wouldn’t stay here if it was free. Or if it was the last holdout in a zombie apocalypse. You would be better off taking your chances in a zombie camp. If you DO decide to book, don’t assume there will be any amenities available - even the most basic things. Swimming pool is condemned, fitness center is closed, breakfast is a joke and hit or miss if they even open it. If they do open up for breakfast, expect a waffle or piece of toast and shriveled up apples. Towels for the bathroom? Good luck. We had to ask repeatedly for them, had to explain why we needed a third towel (3 people in a room with double beds?! Hello?), told no, sent on a hunting expedition for them, and they even had the audacity to tell us we needed to bring down our dirty towels first. There are clearly people living here. There’s trash everywhere. Expect bags of trash and dirty diapers lining the hallways. Plan on pinching your nose so you don’t suffocate on the overwhelming stench of weed through at least the whole floor. This place should actually be shut down.

Everything!! This place has turned into a homeless shelter. There are guests staying there 2 weeks at a time through the city of Hartford. I am so disappointed. I’ve stayed here 3 times before and this time was a nightmare. Barely anyone at the front desk to ask for assistance. They never answer the phone. You have to call about 10 times for them to answer. Only 1 elevator in service. My stay was for 3 nights and everyday I had to reactivate my room key as when we would go out and come back the key didn’t work in the door. Then waiting for a front desk staff to show up was another wait. One night another guest was also waiting for a room key as he was locked out and in socks. One of the nights we came back to the hotel and a lady staying there decided to just urinate in the elevator whilst my husband and I were in there. Whoever was on staff that night just brought a wet mop and swished it around then proceeded to places wet floor sign. Meanwhile the elevator is soaking wet. And to top things off I left a bag in the room upon checkout and housekeeping just kept my stuff. Didn’t even put it in lost and found. I called back to inquire about my belongings and that was a whole other chore. To speak to someone about my belongings. To be told well that’s your responsibility but housekeeping didn’t turn anything in. Ok well they kept my things. This whole experience was so upsetting. Never again!!!!
