It was extremely busy and tons of young girls everywhere for a hockey tournament. It was loud! The room wasn't clean. Had to ckean hair and stuff out of drain and killed a coach roach in bathroom. Carpet was dirty.

Probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. The gentleman at the front desk gave great local recommendations and made a personal connection as we were both heading to Bar Harbor the next day. Breakfast was reasonably priced especially for having smoked salmon on the buffet to go on my bagel and even had capers. Staff at the restaurant was also great.

This is probably the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Super comfortable room/bed. The hotel restaurant food was delisceous! Special comment for Charlie our waiter/bartender. He was so courteous, kind and professional! He’s a credit to your team! I highly recommend this hotel!!!! Thanks BRAVO !!

This is a large property with on-premises restaurants which was handy since the surrounding area doesn't have many options if you need a late dinner. The room was spacious and the bathroom had two sinks with lots of counter space, which made getting ready much easier/better for our family. The property is dog friendly, which was why we selected it even though it is out by the airport rather than near Providence, Newport, or the beaches--and each of those areas is an easy drive. The indoor pool is very small but is open until 11pm which was great compared to many places that are shortening hours. Our only complaint was that the room was not serviced despite a stay of three nights (three people and two dogs) and really did need a vacuum and bath refresh. I was not told at check in that they don't service the rooms daily. Otherwise, a solid option if you want some extra space, free parking, and pet friendly accommodations and are touring colleges/universities or spending time in the greater Providence area.

Upon checking in, I was asked to make a deposit for almost double my stay that was not mentioned when booked. After giving push back, they gave me my hotel key. Once I got into my room, I saw it was an adjoining room but that wasn’t the problem. The problem was the adjoining door was so thin, I could hear the guests next door sneeze and clear their throat. That was totally unacceptable. On the day of checkout, they tried to charge my card double. There was a hold for the initial reservation and they tried to charge my card for the entire stay. My bank ended up freezing my card for security reasons because there were so many tries and multiple charges of different amounts from the hotel. I never ordered room service or had anything charged to the room. It was confusing to me that I was expected to pay double the quoted price. And it wasn’t for incidentals or anything of that nature. I’ve NEVER experienced anything of this nature with ANY other hotel and I’m a frequent traveler. I will never use Crowne Plaza for a stay ever again.

We were placed in a room with a broken air conditioning unit, the room was 56 degrees when we checked in and the unit would not shut off. A maintenance person was sent to our room rather than moving us and ensuring the problem was fixed before assigning anyone the room. We had to manually turn the air on or off as it wouldn't self regulate and shut off at a desired temp, it would keep getting colder. The first night of our stay we could hear every word spoken in the next room through the connecting door. The second morning we were awoken by ongoing loud beeping noises outside our window at 6:30am that continued until we checked out at 9am. We found there was some type of work being done on upper floors and the lift being being used was directly outside our windows. Oh and the nightstand and room door wouldn't close all the way. Frustrating and not a relaxing stay for us.

To Noisy 1st floor

My stay was extremely noisy after 9pm. The wife and I had a long day all we wanted was some rest. The bass and music from ballroom and bar is awful. Not sure how anyone could sleep. I know im getting old but we expect some comfort while staying away from home. Also, thought there was complimentary breakfast $18 a person is a bit ridiculous.
