The property in downtown Toronto was in a great location in that there was a grocery store less than a block away, it was within walking distance of good restaurants, the Princess of Wales Theatre, the CN Tower, and miscellaneous shopping and sightseeing.
The building was was clean, staffed by security at a front desk, and other tenants were considerate. The apartment was as advertised and very comfortable. It would have been nice to have a few more dried spices in stock but what was included was appreciated nonetheless.
The lock box proved challenging to find but, in retrospect, the instructions emailed to me were precise, with one exception. We were not previously familiar with lock boxes, especially in this scenario. I’ll blame it on being tired and slightly disoriented from travel but I failed to recognize that I needed to pull the box apart (to find the key inside) after entering the code. Instead, I tried to actually remove the lock box from the pole after inputting the code. Not sure what I was expecting to happen afterward if I had been able to remove the box from the pole. It sounds silly now. However, adding that single, albeit obvious, line to the instructions (especially for the uninitiated) would have been extremely helpful sooner.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would rent this property again.
