The staff was super nice and the room was clean although a little worn. The breakfast was really good. Eggs were made with real eggs and not runny. Loved the waffles. Nice basic breakfast.

The check in staff was lovely. Very sweet. Everything started going slowly down hill from there. Half of the lights in the hotel were either unscrewed or not working. Very dim lighting in the halls, the lobby and seating areas, and lobby bathrooms. Informed only 2 working ice machines in the building. Every floor had one, 3/5 were broken. All the walls had obvious cheaply done patched. The floors had overwhelming amounts of fabuloso used. Very distinctive smell. The room was pretty gross. It had not been vacuumed for a very long time. Candy and Cheetos on the floor. The corners had cobwebs, there was a hole in the wall under the ac unit. The bathroom had hair on the floor and the sink. The tiny conditioner and shampoo bottles were either refilled or left over from previous guest. Less than halfway full. All the walls and doors were scratched, dented or discolored. The breakfast was pretty gross. Milk in a not chilled vessel, costco bagels and bread, squishy apples and waffles. No juice, no other fruit, no yogurt. This looks to be a once lovely hotel that was bought out by penny pinchers. It has the feel of trying to squeeze every last dollar out of everything and deciding not to fix things to save money and doing everything as cheaply as possible.

Crappy hotel with crappy desk clerk who wouldn’t let my daughter and new son-in-law stay on their wedding night without a $200 cash deposit because they were local. Ruined their night and refused to give me a refund even though they never stayed at the hotel. This is the worst hotel in San Angelo.

My room was really clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again. My only complaint is that the rest of the building was a little dirty, for example every breakfast table had food on it and there was food on the floor in the reception area. I've seen this sort of thing at other hotels, it wasn't so horrible I wouldn't come back.

We booked this hotel because we had an event at the convention center next door so we only needed it to get ready, we didn't even stay the night there. The hotel does not tell you on the 3rd party booking app that if you are a local you have to put a significant cash deposit per room so I was out several hundred JUST for being local.

Room was ok, beds were great. They did not have plugs for my husbands CPAP or phone charger between beds, so we had to move the bed out behind the center table and bed , filthy. It looked like someone may have had a problem between and behind the bed?? Also, they obviously did not clean under the counter in the bathroom, there were small piles of?? Bar was terrible, they catered to locals and it was noticeable . It was also not very clean . Breakfast was ok, they had the basics, but it was clean.

It was ok for a night. The bed was lumpy and the pillows were flat, the breakfast was just scrambled eggs and waffles not a buffet. My key card stopped working while I had my hands full and I asked housekeeping if they could open my door for me so I could at least set my stuff down but I had to carry it back down to the unstaffed front desk, juggling it while waiting for nearly 15 minutes for someone to show up again. It seemed like a lack of customer service from my perspective. Overall if I had to stay another night there I would have cancelled my reservation and stayed elsewhere. It would be my last choice to stay there again and I hate being like this
