We had a room with a balcony overlooking the coast, and the view was lovely. Wi-fi was not available during our stay. The bathroom window wouldn`t open and we couldn`t get the shower gel and soap dispensers to work. The bed was very comfortable. Car parking spaces are limited- we managed to get the last one. Some of the seats were missing as they had gone to be repaired.

Car parking was atrocious. I am disabled and it was difficult to park the car. Hotel car park too small and nearby car park should be used via an arrangement with the local council. We should have been told that blue badge parking was always free in that car park.

This was a rabbit warren of a hotel, with rooms of all shapes and sizes scattered throughout the site. We were initially given a very dark room, which was a strange shape, and a yapping dog next door; we were given a much better room when we complained. There was a problem with the wifi connection throughout our stay, and as the mobile phone signal was poor, we had to leave the hotel to get an internet connection. There was insufficient car parking on site and so we had to pay £10.80 per day at a nearby car park.

Good location

The hotel is located by the harbour and close to shops and restaurants. Parking on-site is limited. Breakfast was good, with a good selection of items. Our room (30) was really hot, and quite noisy (we could hear the room next door’s TV and dogs).

I was on my own (newly widowed) but very relaxed at the Bamburgh Castle. Staff were all very kind and helpful. A room with balcony looking over the harbour was really special.

Great location, lovely room, great bedding and towels. We were on the first floor of Coble Cottage, adjacent to the Inn. Bathroom layout was ok but a bit more thought could have improved it by having a longer shower tray (the full length of the wall), the toilet next to it and the hand basin at the door end (the door was at an angle which made the toilet feel cramped). Reasonable breakfast choice but would have liked a broader range of fresh fruit - only apple chunks and pineapple chunks to have with the yoghurt. Good cooked selection, various breads for toasting, mini croissants and pain au chocolat. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

The location of hotel was perfect! We had a big family room with 2 windows, facing the sea. Beds were comfy, room was stocked with great quality tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and beautiful soap! Breakfast was very high quality and delicious, even had freshly squeezed orange juice. The cost of hotel was much higher than we usually pay for our hotels, but it was busy high season and everything was perfect and worth the money. Carpark was tiny and no spaces, so we had to pay for nearby carpark, which was the only negative. Thanks for lovely stay

The room was great newly refurbished,view spectacular. Bar menu very average food average staff ok but some could do with a bit of customer service training my husband plate was removed before I’d finished, minor points like that. On the other hand check in very pleasant and a handyman offered to take my case to my room unprompted
