Complain Room cleaning issue

Subject: Request for Compensation – Room Cleaning Issue Dear Mrs as Hotel Manager, I hope this message finds you well. We recently stayed at Maison St. Charles from july 2nd to july 8th 2025 at room #219 and while we enjoyed some aspects of our visit ( situation and welcome, breakfast ) , we were very disappointed that our room was not cleaned on 5 out of the 6 days of our stay. Bed, sheets change, bathroom sink and shower, ground never been cleaned We were obliged to request 3 times at the front desk some new towels realizing ,when coming back from our visits the room was not cleaned up. Also obliged to request at the front desk the day before check out a toilett brush to clean our toilets by ourself. This situation is not normal and very frustrating. Given this inconvenience, we would kindly like to request a goodwill gesture or some form of compensation for the lack of housekeeping services during our stay. Thank you in advance for your understanding and attention to this matter. We look forward to hearing from you. The above complain has been notified at check out giving you our email for your return. If you are reading this, I highly recommend you stay elsewhere. They will make additional, separate charges on your card after you leave. They will call it “parking tax” despite parking being included on your final bill and this separate will also include nights you didn’t stay (I stayed 2 but they charged 3). I don’t know what kind of scam they’re running but you should really try to avoid it.

Great hotel near it all

Had a hiccup first day in hotel with water leaking on floor from AC but staff was able to move us to another room next day. Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful and were very prompt with anything we needed. Hotel is next to tram line which is very convenient for taking around places like French Quarter and other streets. Only downside was the hot tub was way too hot for myself to get into but overall would definitely stay here again.

Central, comfy, helpful

Maison St. Charles was a great place to stay, especially for the value. While there was a problem with our bathroom, the employees quickly helped and then moved us to a new room. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The pool is great, it is walking distance to the French Quarter, and right on the streetcar line. I would definitely stay here again.

I had a great stay. I couldn't say one bad thing about this place except for the people at the front desk. The little girl who checked me in had the worst attitude. She was not welcoming and she had her ear buds in. She rolled her eyes alot. I get that this is the "charming attitude" of New Orleans, but when you work in hospitality it's important to be nice and welcoming to your guests. The security guards were also bad. One was just sitting around arguing with a girlfriend. Many of the security were just there to collect a check, they did nothing else. Other than these issues I gotta say that the property grounds were very beautiful and well kept. The rooms were solid and I didn't hear anything and we were right in front of the pool. Also, the street parking was adequate enough for us and the street lights are super bright! I had no problems there.

Front desk staff didn’t seem to want to be helpful. Everyone e else in New Orleans has been except for the staff here. Room lacked lighting and felt oppressive. Beds were comfortable.
