Save your money and go somewhere else. When we checked into our room, we didn't have towels or a comforter on the bed. The walls were multiple colors of grey and not on purpose, the wall paper was peeling. Mold and cracks all over the bathroom ceiling. The only plug-ins were by the bathroom sink and only 1 worked. All the fixtures looked like it was from the 70's rust included.

Hotel was a place to sleep bed was very comfy. Staff was super friendly. Parking lot felt safe. Room was clean but not in the best conditions the door frame was partly missing and we could see daylight through the cracks. Very close the bus station just 1 block away. I would probably stay at this location again if I were to visit NOLA. The pool was undergoing maintenance while we visited but we were not disappointed in that because it was not swimming weather anyways.

Front desk staff was amazing. Rooms were sub-par: towels were wet, room was very hot (never got below 75 degrees), poor lighting, ceiling in bathroom falling apart, shower messed up, no toilet paper. You can tell the facility is under renovation, which is great. The front and the lobby look great, but the rest is not great. Hopefully once Reno is done, it will be much better. Elevator was also very scary.

The room I stayed in was old, outdated and made me very sick due to the cigarette and mold smell. I have asthma. Upon walking in my room. I noticed the frame to the light fixture wasn’t attached to the light bulb and instead was placed inside the closet. There’s a no smoke in the room policy and guest in room 207 was smoking cigarettes. The smell was coming through my walls and vents. My throat was sore, my nose was stuffy and I was sneezing due yo the cigarette and old smell in my room. Also, The guest in room 207 was causing a disturbance. Loud amplified TV that you can hear through my wall and outside the door. I had to call the front desk twice. Then I called the police the third time. Then the people above me were stumping from 2am-6am. I was up all night due to the disturbances. Front desk couldn’t change my room because the entire hotel was sold out. Lastly, housekeeping never came to clean my room or bring clean towels and linen during my stay.

The room was absolutely disgusting. Looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in forever. What looked like black mold on the ceiling. Pillows had a hint of brown to them and I can’t even begin to guess what was originally behind the beds and then what happened to it and the wall behind it.
