The lobby was clean, the staff polite, but the rooms were wanting. First, we booked 2 dbl beds but got a single queen. They did allow us to switch to a different room with 2 dble beds, but the keycards didn't consistently work and I had to go down to the front desk multiple times to have them reset. Second, the room had poor lighting, no mini-fridge, no microwave, no phone, no other similar things typically found in most modern hotels, as well as no visible air vents. So, it had a thermostat but we couldn't figure out where the AC might come from. The room was muggy, and the sheets and pillows felt muggy. There were also very few power outlets, which might have been a bigger annoyance had our fan not had additional outlets on it. Lastly, they had a pool but it was closed, they had a "shop" but it was just cash-only vending machines, and there was no ice machine or buckets that we could find. The gated parking was a nice feature, but likely necessary for the area. And they provided coffee in the morning with powdered creamer, but that was it - no juice, no water, absolutely nothing else. But for the price, it was an alright place to sleep.

First room was filthy literally had someone’s toenail on the floor, ac didn’t work. Second room had a pumpkin seed under covers and hair in sheets, towels were clean but stained red/pink with either makeup or blood, carpet sticky and nasty bathroom floor….needs to be deep cleaned and renovated like the Lobby. Couldn’t get to the pool that was a little green in color and elevator broke. Hardly any outlets to charge a phone and don’t get me started on the rusty grate that held the nasty filter. Could me made into a beautiful property.

The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that the staff was nice. Unfortunately, everything else about my experience was very disappointing. My room had blood stains on the bed, which was extremely unsettling. There was also no refrigerator or microwave, which I needed for my child’s milk and food, and the A/C did not work at all. The rest of the property also seemed poorly maintained. The elevator barely worked, and I overheard another guest complaining that her window would not close. That raised a serious safety concern, especially since the rooms open directly to the outside where other guests are walking around. What concerned me most was how unsafe the property felt overall. In the three hours I was there, I saw several people wandering around both outside and inside the hotel who made me uncomfortable. Because I was traveling with my child, I did not feel comfortable staying and had to book another hotel at the last minute, which ended up being much more expensive. When I asked for a refund, I was told to contact Hotels.com because the rooms were non-refundable through the hotel. I reached out that same day, and the representative marked my case as urgent. She told me I should hear back within 24 hours or within 1–3 days. We spoke on Thursday, and by Sunday I still had not heard anything. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience and I would never choose to stay here.

Save your money and go somewhere else. When we checked into our room, we didn't have towels or a comforter on the bed. The walls were multiple colors of grey and not on purpose, the wall paper was peeling. Mold and cracks all over the bathroom ceiling. The only plug-ins were by the bathroom sink and only 1 worked. All the fixtures looked like it was from the 70's rust included.

Hotel was a place to sleep bed was very comfy. Staff was super friendly. Parking lot felt safe. Room was clean but not in the best conditions the door frame was partly missing and we could see daylight through the cracks. Very close the bus station just 1 block away. I would probably stay at this location again if I were to visit NOLA. The pool was undergoing maintenance while we visited but we were not disappointed in that because it was not swimming weather anyways.

Front desk staff was amazing. Rooms were sub-par: towels were wet, room was very hot (never got below 75 degrees), poor lighting, ceiling in bathroom falling apart, shower messed up, no toilet paper. You can tell the facility is under renovation, which is great. The front and the lobby look great, but the rest is not great. Hopefully once Reno is done, it will be much better. Elevator was also very scary.
