Beware..Paid ...refused stay and left without help

I booked this accommodation on hotels.com Paid for taxi to get to my accommodation. Accommodation said they are not with hotels.com. Accommodation refused my stay I was alone without transport in a strange country with nowhere to sleepfor 3 nights. Very stressful and hotels.com would not help me I already paid for the accommodation and hotels.com has not refunded me
