I stayed at a lot of hotels recently (traveling a lot). This was the most pleasing. I had 4 autistic kids with me and no other adult and the staff was very nice. Helpful etc. Most importantly it was clean unlike some other recent (luxury) hotels I’ve stayed in. They put a clean oversized sheet under and over the comfortable which gives you a peace of mind if the comforter isn’t washed daily (most hotels). Very nice

So, 1st off the staff was extremely helpful and very nice. We got conjoined rooms and there was a bit of a mix up on what i order and i could not get the accommodation I ordered, nor could i get a refund for it (the room i wanted was pricier) because i ordered it from hotel.com, so the Sheraton gave me and my family (6 of us) free breakfast for our stay, which was more than the refund would have been. They didnt hesitate to make up for it. The hotel itself was fine, some people complained about it being outdated, but it really was not bad at all. The pool rool was a bit cold, so the little ones didn't use the pool much because it was too cold, but it was clean and maybe in the summer would have been better. We were very disappointed that the hot tub was not filled (we called before our trip and we were told it was up and running), so that was a bummer. We also called to see if sesame place was in walking distance and we were told it was... so the catch is, it is very close, BUT you have to basically walk down a highway to get to it...and there are no side walks for most of the walk. We had 2 toddlers in strollers, so we weren't going to do that, so we had to pay 35 bucks to park at sesame place each day. Maybe if your kids were a little older, you could probably make it work. The breakfast at the Sheraton, university grille, was pretty good, not amazing, but good and convenient, plus they give you a good portion. All in all, I'd stay there again, especially for the price!

Staff is always professional. Used to be our go-to hotel whenever coming back to town, but has gone downhill some in the past few years. There has been broken or missing shampoo bottles and lack of enough towels at times. Always tough to find a parking spot in the evening as well.

Hotel looked nice when we arrived. Little inconveniences started adding up.....refrigeration cases in the shop didn't work so all beverages were warm, no ice machines at hotel, our room key had to be reprogrammed multiple times a day (after the 3rd day we mentioned to the front desk - and yes we made sure not to do anything to mess with the magnetize - they said they would send someone to fix and never did, our windows were permanently frosted, our room felt damp, no drinks at the bar and fountain soda was flat.... the hotel is definitely showing it's age. Expected more from Sheraton/Marriott.

Internet is average speed, rooms are not cleaned unless asked to be cleaned which is a bit disconcerting. The bed I had (king size) was very uncomfortable, no support, just laying on the frame, worn out, etc. Shower water has/had a very weak stream, could barely rinse the soap off, not worthy at all. There aren't any ice machines on the property, so, you have to go to the front desk to where they sell over-priced snacks and retrieve a 3lb bag of ice (if they have it available), on two of the three nights ice was not available. Also, they have a nice lounge, but no liquor license, so, no night caps, etc., to take advantage of the lounge. The site itself is in a great location, which is why I have chosen this place a few times. It's just okay, but it could be so much better, and it was, when it was the Royce Hotel, several years back. Okay, gotta go, time for Ibuprofen for my sore back from the three stooges bed accommodations.....

Hotel was outdated. Our first night I woke up to what sounded like dripping next to my head. I followed the sound to the bathroom and there were huge holes cut in the wall where it looks like they had been making repairs. The fixtures and faucets weren’t secured in the room.
