Valet service set a strong first impression—friendly, welcoming, and professional.
That initial experience, however, was not reflected at the front desk. The check-in felt impersonal and lacked the warmth one expects in hospitality. There was little engagement, and the interaction came across as transactional rather than welcoming.
Upon entering our assigned balcony room, the temperature was extremely warm—uncomfortably so. After contacting the front desk, we were advised it would take some time for assistance. Despite the hotel appearing relatively quiet, it took nearly an hour for maintenance to arrive. Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved during that visit, and after additional follow-up, we were ultimately reassigned to another room.
The second room was an improvement in comfort, though the overall condition of the property feels dated. The bathroom, in particular, showed signs of age, with a small tub/shower setup and finishes that could benefit from updating. Some areas, including wallpaper, appeared worn.
Throughout the stay, service at the front desk remained consistent but lacked engagement, which stood in contrast to the welcoming tone set by valet.
This property has a solid foundation and clear potential. With attention to guest experience and some thoughtful updates, it could align much more closely with the level of hospitality travelers expect. As it stands, the experience felt more functional than memorable.
