This hotel seems to have been really nice maybe when it was newer it’s definitely gone downhill. We stayed a couple years ago and it wasn’t horrible but still not as bad as this round. There was black mold and multiple areas of the hotel. My son woke up with swollen eyes, which could have been from either the detergent and the sheets or the mold. My husband saw a black mold in our shower. All of us went home sick with what seem to be like respiratory issues. The pool was not open nor was it stated on the website when booking.

I thought Ethan Allen had a reputation as a high quality brand so I'm shocked at the condition of the room we stayed in. From a dirty/stained shower/tub, to wall paper peeling at EVERY seam, shelving leaning off the wall, low quality furniture (this one might be the most shocking given their alleged furniture brand reputation) - this was a majorly disappointing stay. The reception was under staffed with only one person covering the entire time we were there. You either have to wait for reception service if anyone else is checking in/out OR if no one was physically out at the desk and you'd stand there waiting to be noticed, no bell to ring to an empty desk. There was no information on the hotel and it's offerings to be found in the room, not even a pen/pad. Had a free standing minifridge with a microwave on it which what'd you expect at a 1 star hotel - not incorporated into the furniture. Pool was closed during open hours in the middle of June. So, they might claim is a 3 or 4 star hotel but trust me it is not. The room was a 1.5 star at best. Just because some of their rooms have been renovated they're trying to pass the entire hotel off as being high star. I mentioned my concerns at check out and zero empathy was shown after I expressed how a bate and switch we'd felt had happened.

Nice stay, rooms were nice, but a little in need of some general revamping. Staff is nice, friendly.

Hotel was great except for a couple of things: TV’s take about 10 seconds between channels and no guide to know what channel is what. Toilet is mounted with a wall one inch from the side. You have to sit side-saddle and can barely fit your hand in to flush. Other than that, great.

Made a mistake in booking. For some reason the app gives a date of a week later. I was tired after 10 hours on the road. So I booked something nearby not realizing it was for a week later. Of course my reservation was not in the system. The desk employee went above and beyond to help me out. She was wonderful! But I had to pay for the night. Contacted hotels.com about it. They are refusing to reimburse me for the mistaken reservation on the 28th and the hotel manager is refusing also. So I'm out $125. I'll never use hotels.com again.

Night one, the room I checked in to had a huge wet spot on the carpet. The TV remote didn't work. Room and furniture were pretty shabby. The second night, room was run down but fine. Both rooms, the bathroom faucets didnt turn off right. Both rooms had mini-fridge and microwave. This hotel has mini suites with two double beds and a separate area with a pullout couch, great for families. (Must book a suite.) Bar is good, not open Sunday/Monday. Beautiful lobby and outside courtyard. Exercise room is tiny. Pool outside. Has many function rooms but the noise from events did not travel.

Very clean hotel!!! Daily housekeeping was a pleasant welcome surprise as many hotels post Covid don’t offer this. Very comfortable room with sofa area !! Used washer and dryer, and fitness facilities . Due to springtime, outdoor pool not open but they have been refreshing it getting it ready for opening.
