When we checked in, the front office staff was quite rude. First, she claimed we didn’t have a reservation because she didn’t read the information on my driver’s license correctly. She had entered my middle name as my last name. After quite an ordeal, she found my prepaid reservation for 6 nights. Then, she proceeded to lecture me on all the things we couldn’t do, never mentioning the things we could do or what was provided by La Quinta.
Safety issues: Our room had all major electronic appliances plugged into one outlet: air conditioner, mini-fridge, microwave, television and cable cords, and desk lamp.
There were also incidents of non-guests entering the facility and attempting to get free breakfast meals, ice, and using the laundry facilities.
The parking lot and entrances were not ADA compliant, making it difficult for me to gain access to and from the building.
Maintenance issue: The bathroom had obvious water damage that had not been repaired/replaced. The bathroom door was swollen and didn’t close properly, and the walls had flaking paint, due to water damage.
