The renaissance has long been one of my favorite hotels. Mainly due to their service, location, food and rooms. The last time we visited, I was told at the redo of to spend extra when booking because my gold status includes breakfast. On check in, the first associate I met could not make it more clear of their disinterest to be helping me. Eye rolls, it was bizarre. When completing the check in I confirmed the breakfast, I was told I was misinformed… but my gold gets me a pastry… I asked to speak to the manager, after some time… he came out and said that anything I say is hearsay. At this point, I don’t really care and head up to my one bedroom suite. The bed was horrible, the comforter was dirty. I can honestly say, I never slept well a single night of my trip. The food menu has also been reduced.
The second star is for the server in the restaurant that helped us Saturday night, he was great and I enjoyed the chicken tenders.
