Good: the staff were friendly and conscious of maintaining safety and security in the motel. The room had a locking door, a coffee pot, a TV, working AC, a bed, a shower with hot water, and the basic bath toiletries. The towels were definitely laundered, the floor was certainly vacuumed, the bed linens were clearly changed. It is a dry, safe place to sleep and was a lower price than most places given the timing of our trip.
Bad: the property is incredibly old and worn. Nothing feels fresh and comfortable. The rooms look like they were once meant to have fridges and other furniture, maybe even a balcony, but everything got stripped out at some point leaving it feeling very spartan and somehow lacking. This is as bare-bones as motels come. I wish it had been cheaper and I don't really want to stay here again.
