There was black mold in tha air conditioning unit. The wallpaper is peeling off in several places. Several of the plugs didn't work. The bed was squeaky. Waited a long time to check in, they never game us our casino vouchers. There were no lids for the coffee cups. It was misleading water view, you could see the water, however there was no beach access.

Mackinaw trip

The facility met my expectations, room was comfortable and had necessary amenities. Coffee and refrigerator. AC good. Location to Lake Huron was a short walk. It was a pleasant surprise being in close proximity to ferry. The price seemed fair. I would definitely return and stay .

Great room!

My family stayed here for two nights as we explored Mackinaw City. The hotel is older but the room was very clean and comfortable. The AC was ice cold during a heat wave! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. There was a nice grassy area in the back and views of the water and ferries to the island. Breakfast was coffee and muffins.

Old, dated and in need of repair and upgrades.

Broken patio door, no screen for door, maintenance came right away to fix door but never came with promised screen door. Mattress was as worn out and bouncy as a kids bounce house that is 30 years old! Bathroom was very dirty and so dated. The hot water was amazing tho! No anti slip in tub had to put down a towel to stand on, it was very slippery. The room had new cubbies and table but no where to eat or play cards other than bed, the wallpaper was falling and torn all over the room, including bathroom. The frame around the entry door was gone, completely broken off and missing! Noise was ridiculous, not so much the hotels fault but the parents of the children. Outside stairs to get to second floor very old and worn, the carpet covering the stairs all ripped and pulled up, a very big fall risk, handrails so dirty and slimy they couldn’t be used. All in all an awful stay, my fault for booking in a place I had never been, being it was the cheapest… never again

Very very disappointed!

The room was left open when we came back from the island. Floors were sticky. The bathrooms were in terrible shape toilet pointed at door so crooked and the door had pieces missing off the bottom. Walls were peeling finishes were outdated and ac was below average kept room at 77 degrees. The blankets had holes in them. There was no breakfast like advertised just a cold muffin and awful coffee.

Location was perfect unfortunately a group of under age kids started to play ding- dong- ditch at 11pm at night. It was nasty! A lot of us had to complain that the children where left alone at the hotel while parents went out to party ..

Disappointing to say the least. The room is an absolute disgrace. How Wyndham can put there name behind this property is alarming. You could plop it down on 8 Mile in Detroit and it would fit right in. There isn't an upper manager who would stay at this motel. They would have it shut down. I wish we would have taken pictures. Do not book this place. They wouldn't let us cancel our last night because we were checked in. We didn't stay our last night.

Liked the new vinyl plank flooring vs nasty carpet in a lot of hotels. Hopefully updated baths coming. Room smelled musty. Lots of mildew spots in bathroom. Great location in Mackinaw City at a great price on holiday weekend.
