Excellent breakfast and good WiFi connection. The central location is perfect for the visiting the town. I received a very informative arrival text detailing everything, including parking advice. The room was very comfortable. Be aware this is a very old building, the single pain glass does not block much of the road noise and it was quite chilly in the room overnight. However, this didn’t ruin my stay, I would consider staying again.

We had a great stay in room 7 @ no8 Kingsbury. The room was immaculate, the bathroom was stunning as it was in the basement. Loved the breakfast items in the room, fresh cold milk, water and orange juice. Really liked that it was self check in/out so we could come and go as we please. Shame there’s no on site parking but we found some at the top of the hill, the owners also pre warmed up about a leak in our room so there was a dehumidifier in there. Highly recommend overall and we will be back! Thank you.

Spotless room, magnificent bed, a bit tight in the toilet area, shutters/curtains must be closed to have privacy (room window towards the main street) and that implies lights on all of the time, which I am not a fan off. Unmanned check in, I had issues opening the door however no issues with reaching someone. The Nespresso coffee machine did not work or maybe I did not manage to get it going. Excellent breakfast choices (despite it being in room only).

Absolutely disaster! Arrived to find room in a basement with no view out of window, or fresh air. The door to our room was a garden gate with massive gaps. Had to use coats to seal light & noise. Half spot lights didn't work in ceiling. Blind wouldn’t pull but was probably a good thing as so many cobwebs outside window was like a horror movie. Had shower on arrival that flooded whole bathroom. When rang to advise housekeeping told happens if you use shower on full. Half lighting in bathroom didn’t work either probably due to flooding in past. Bath mats replaced so slippery my husband went flying and grazed all of leg. Checked out first thing next morning as room felt damp and it was hard to breathe. No offer of refund for second night. Would not recommend at all unfortunately.

Our second stay in this lovely b and b. The check in instructions are clear and simple, and as soon as you open the front door you are met with a warm, cosy atmosphere. All the rooms are different but equally beautiful, well furnished and comfortable. We stayed in number 4 this time, which was upstairs, overlooking Kingsbury Street. The breakfast was delicious and items were restocked every day. It was so nice to have a full bottle of milk instead of fiddly little packets that always run out. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are visiting Marlborough.

Clean and comfortable room, the breakfast was good - we aren’t a fan of panettone’s but the Madeline’s were great and the pastries are seasonally changed I think. The room was finished to a nice standard but the doors were still quite small if you’re very tall you might struggle a little bit. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to stay in a very central Marlborough location, with a lot of character.

This is a wonderful and quirky boutique hotel. We stayed in room 1 in no. 7 with the bath. The room was clean and spacious. We loved the addition of the bath, which is so deep that it was very easy to use without causing a mess (as someone complained about before). Breakfast was refreshed every day and consisted of oats, fruit, cereals and cakes. We found a parking spot a few minutes walk away for the first 2 nights and a 10 minute walk away on the 3rd night so this was a non-issue. We liked the independence of having no reception and no formal check-in. I would thoroughly recommend this unique hotel and would return in a heartbeat!

We stayed 1 nite in room 7 lovely room and amazing shower room which is an old vault only downside is it does flood the whole area but was worth it bed was comfortable it doesn’t have phone network so be prepared to use there free WiFi also doesn’t have normal tv channels you have to sign into Netflix luckily we have Netflix so was easy to do wat really impressed us was def the shower area in room 7 it was awesome we will def return to room 7 if in Swindon :)
