This location is in need of a MAJOR UPDATE. Mr Pat was the best part of the stay. The room served its purpose so I could sleep but the rooms and grounds are in such need of updating. There was such a smell that not even Lysol air sanitizer could minimize it in the room.

Arrived and got checked in at the front desk. Lady was not overly friendly but not a big deal. I got to my room and immediately realized there were no towels. I walked back down to the office within 10 minutes of original check in and asked nicely for some towels. The woman behind the desk acted as if she were totally "put out" with me. She raised her voice and was extremely rude, telling me I'd have to wait because she was counting her money as it was the end of her shift. She acted like I had inconvenienced her SO badly. Won't be going back.

Arrived and checked in was assigned to room that was already occupied by someone so finally got into a room noticed i had no towels or wash clothes went down was told they would bring them well I have know been down and asked 5 different times last reponse was they don’t have any I had to use a shirt to shower and dry off 2 lamps had no light bulbs in them and the one that did was painted over barley illuminates any at all just horrible service all around except for the desk lady who checked me in she was really nice

Nasty & outdated

This hotel was quiet but extremely unkept. The entry door to the room looked like it was repurposed from another project, the bathroom door looked like it was from a domestic violence episode, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in ages and there was only one set of towels and a minuscule amount of bathroom tissue available. I called the front desk and requested towels and tissue and was advised i had to wait because housekeeping wasn't at work. A few minutes later the front desk clerk brought the items to the door. If you can afford better then please choose another hotel.

Credit Card abuse!!!

I booked in advance a 2 day stay at motel 6 at 1036 Martin Luther King Blvd., Monroe, LA. I chose to have the money taken off at the time of me being present. A lady behind the counter gave me a sheet of paper which I still have stating a $50 refund that was not given. The prices stated that they varied. I got the room at $43 a night ifI got there before before 6 O’clock, p,m. I was there around 3ish on that Friday evening. My stay was for May 2nd and 3rd. Was to be out by 11:00 a.m. on May 4th. I was out before 10:00 a.m. At the desk after viewing my charges, I tried to speak respectfully to a seemingly possibly woman in her 20’s. At the desk, no one was present. I went rob the car and a woman walked out of the motel, saw me and stated roughly “ I’m going to talk to my moms”. I said “0k”. I returned inside with her. A girl came in behind me. She saw the actions taken after I tried to speak to this woman. Before I said anything to her except” may I speak to you about some charges on my card”. The woman told me”. You can just check out”. Roughly said! I never got to tell her what I needed to respectfully say. The woman told me I had nothing I needed to say to her. I began to try to tell her that a picture from Motel 6 appeared on my phone in my pictures, charging me $211 and some cent. I still have the picture. I loudly told her that she somehow used my card at Wal Mart at times I was not present at Wal Mart. My charges should have been $86 plus tax. NEXT

I’ve stayed at Motel 6 a lot when going out of town. We were here for the college conference tournament in Sterlington tx. It looks much different on the web site. Reviews are total lie. The room was filthy dirty no wash clothes to use. When I called the front desk to ask for towels and wash cloth she huffed like it was a bother. There were these small little flying bugs around the sink in the bathroom so annoying. I would not recommend this motel 6 to anyone.

Greatest room on Earth!

The room smelled like an ash tray, no fridge. No remote for the TV, no towels, bathroom light had exposed live wires, and i was propositioned by a prostitute while bringing luggage into my room in front of my children.

Never again

Just needed a place to sleep for a few hours and my expectations were not high but WOW. During checkin the attendant behind the counter was scrolling through photos on her phone. The room was filthy; stains on the walls, a tissue stuff into a hole in the wall, something sticky on nightstand and on the floor, and the comforter had cigarette burns. The only positives was a working AC and the sheets did appear to be clean.
