I am sorry to give this Motel 6 in Monroe only two stars but it spoiled all my previous experiences in other Motel 6.The bedroom was OK - clean, comfortable bed, clean sheets (only the pillows were old and far from comfortable). The walls in the area with the desk were dirty and both chairs were old and with holes on the upholstery. The bathroom was terrible - a hole on the wall, ancient bathtub, dirty walls, no toiletries, no towels (was given towels but had to go to the front desk to ask for them ). Otherwise, both the front desk guy in the evening and the lady in the morning were polite and nice. Sorry but after the conditions in this Motel 6 in Monroe, I do not think, I would stay in any Motel 6 in the future.

I would like to begin by recognizing a staff member who was exceptionally friendly and helpful during our visit. Her professionalism and positive attitude stood out, and she truly deserves recognition for her efforts. Unfortunately, our experience with the accommodations did not meet expectations. The condition of the room did not accurately reflect the images or descriptions provided on the website, which makes it difficult for guests to make informed decisions—especially for short stays. The shower curtain was not properly installed, and the bathtub was in poor condition, with visibly chipped paint and a discolored, yellowish-brown appearance. It appeared unsanitary to the point that shower shoes felt necessary. Additionally, the towels and washcloths looked worn and discolored, and the complimentary soap appeared to have been previously used and repackaged. There was also a noticeable odor in the room. It may also be helpful for the property to clearly communicate if it primarily accommodates traveling construction workers, as this was not indicated online. The parking lot was predominantly occupied by large work trucks, and most guests appeared to be in work attire, which may influence expectations for other travelers. Overall, the condition of the room was distressing for my family. My 15-year-old was visibly upset upon seeing the accommodations, and I did not feel comfortable allowing my 10-month-old to stay in that environment.

I called the office and they immediately knew the situation and they had secured everything and had it locked away in the office. I was very grateful for the way they handled things.

The staff was amazing! The main lady at the front desk truly helped me out. I just got out of the hospital with PE/blood clots and had been living out of my car (which is why I got the clots in the 1st place.) Everything else was not top percent and the building was old and dirty. I had 2 people who were hanging outside the rooms ask if i wanted drugs. It's def in a drug zone. It was better than my car, however, and if i had to and didn't have the money for anywhere else, I'd stay again. Love the staff though!!

This MOTEL is very over priced for the conditions of those rooms. I mean everything was horrible. The staff was friendly but that doesn’t excuse the conditions of the rooms. If you ask me it’s false advertising because nothing in the pictures match the way those rooms truly are. I’m not a mean person and I’m very truthful but those rooms are very ridiculous and very over priced!!
