The only good thing about this hotel was the maintenance guy that walked us around until we found a room that was semi clean. I would give him 5 stars for his help but the hotel would be 0 stars

Bed was broken (springs were sticking out. ) The lot and building is heavily overgrown My room specifically was dirty, bed had stains, counters had globs of stickyness. Tub didnt drain. The walls and floors were atrocious. Stains, scuffs, and damages.

First room sheets wasn't clean and curtains were taped together with duck tape. Went back to desk check in,the GM asked me if I wanted someone to change sheets or did I want another room? I said another room and I did get another room. Second room curtains was taped with duck tape as well and no towel We made the best out the few hours we were there to get on cruise next day. On the way out next morning one room towards the front a window was busted out. I give it a 0

In my week long stay, I did not receive any care for the room…..yes I did request to have my bed turned daily. There was a roach in the restroom one of the days. The room had a “stench”, I didn’t move rooms because it seemed to be in every room they showed. I was placed in (2) other rooms before finally getting into a room. The first (2) rooms didn’t have A/C (the units were broken, literally hanging on the floor), and the shower had water constantly dripping. Overall a horrible experience.

I couldn’t stay in the room and left after entering and seeing blood on the wall, cockroaches, bed begs, and cigarette butts in the ground. I tried to go back to the front desk which was then closed. I immediately contacted hotels.com who did NOTHING to help me.They directed me to contact the hotel which will not respond. I would never stay in a hotel like this and I will never recommend hotels.com. I will continue to share my horror story with any platform I can be heard on.

That hotel is where aids would go to get aids!! So dirty and mold and stained and what appears to be blood stains on the floor… how it’s even allowed to be open blows my mind… do not waste your money you’d literally be better sleeping in the ihop next door (one in our group did)

This is not a place for a human to stay. Upon checking in, the night person tried to assign us to a room on the 2nd floor. I asked if they had an elevator. I was told it was not working. I stated that is why I had asked for a ground-floor room when I made the reservation. I have had knee surgery, and I can't do stairs. The room was disgusting. The curtains were nasty, and the floor was filthy. I walked on the floors in white socks, and they were dirty afterward. Some lights needed to be changed in the bathroom. The tub dripped. The maintenance person came in, fixed the lights, and reduced the drip in the tub. I looked up and found black mold in the shower. There was hair on the counter. At check-in, the night staff person lied and stole money from me. I had prepaid for the hotel stay. She said I needed a credit card on file but it wouldn't be charged. When I checked my account the next morning I saw a charge, I proceeded to the front desk for clarification. Was given an apology & a credit. Only to be charged a 2nd time. My daughter & I refused to leave our bags in the room because the place was nasty. We went out for a few hours. Upon returning, the beds had been undone. The mattresses have human bodily fluids on them. DISGUSTING!!! We asked to be moved. The next room had issues, too. I won't recommend this place to anyone! As a Travel Agent, I will NEVER RECOMMEND any of my clients to stay here. My daughter found a roach crawling on her clothes that she laid on the chair.

The non-smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke and was stronger in the bathroom indicating it may have been coming in from another room. The sink backed up and the room needed some fresh paint. The beds/sheets were clean and fairly comfortable and the AC/heater worked well. The staff was friendly and fairly efficient. Breakfast was sufficiently stocked. Overall this feels like an older hotel that is in need of some significant renovations (flooring, paint, general maintenance) but it was sufficient for sleeping in while visiting New Orleans.
