The most frustrating thing about this stay was that staff did not acknowledge the privacy please sign on our door. When we stay at hotels we do not need housekeeping and most hotels honor the privacy sign and have a policy. We came back to our room and the sign was on the floor in front of our door. We went in and the beds were made, trash gone and wet towels gone but no replacements and no toilet paper and they left their cleaning container just outside the area near our door? Very suspicious behavior. When addressed with the front desk they made excuses, no apologies no nothing and when we asked to speak to the manager he was always unavailable. I would not recommend staying here. Especially if you have a young family. Not safe. This Best Western was very disappointing.

Very nice hotel close to main road and convenient eating and shopping. Large room, cold AC and kitchen area for those who wish to cook/eat in room. Some dishes, glasses and pots were included but silverware was absent except for a couple random pieces. Setup of hotel is different than usual, with groups of four rooms in detached two story buildings. Lobby/breakfast area is not connected to rooms under covered roof, which was a little inconvenient on a rainy day.

Hubby and I make a trip out for an anniversary weekend getaway. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel employees were friendly and breakfast was fully stocked every morning. The only thing I found odd was that there was only one chair in our kitchen sitting area for the two of us to use.

I enjoyed my time at the hotel. The location is nice and the rooms were overall clean. The only thing was that if we took a long shower we would run out of hot water. Also you could smell the strong smell of the cooking at the rooms. They need better vents of better room policies since I didn’t see any air extractor in the kitchen. Our room smelled like someone fried an entire meal and we had to get candles to tame the smell. The front desk people were very friendly and the staff too. The breakfast is simple but good. Everything is organized and looks good at this property. It was a pleasant experience.

Our stay was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was delicious each day, the rooms were more than we even expected. We were comfortable and had enough space for our family, anything we needed was available by asking the front desk. Having the amenities like at home helped us save a lot of eating out. Will definitely will stay here again when we come to NY again.

Booked for family due to the additional pull-out sofa. Sofa didn’t have sheets and there were no additional blankets to be found within the room, so couldn’t use the pull-out as we had hoped. Beds also missing blankets; we were fortunate that we traveled with blankets in the car for the kids. Kitchen was new and updated, bathroom was clean but could use updating. One of the beds was pushed all the way up against the wall under the window making getting in and out of it challenging and the curtains didn’t cover the entire window so kids were up early with the morning light. Overall, fine for resting our heads for the night but wouldn’t stay here again.

Stayed here before, chose it for proximity to friends/family in Dutchess Co, proximity to major highways, restaurants, attractions, etc. I like that the rooms are in separate bungalows with doors opening to outside, giving them an "apartment" rather than hotel feel. Upper units are accessible by stairs only, no good for folks w/disabilities. King bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows, high-end bed linens. The AC/heat unit is a bit noisy, but works well. The large wall-mounted flat-screen TV can be viewed easily from the seating area or the bed. The kitchen has a suite of functional full-size appliances, and is bigger than kitchens in some apartments I've lived in. My only interaction with staff was the guy who checked me in, and woman who checked me out - they were pleasant and informative. The room was very clean when I checked in but wasn't attended by the cleaning staff during my stay. The bathroom/vanity area is large, with plenty of counter space. The vanity mirror lighting is soft and pleasing, but not ideal for actually seeing things. The heat/fan is a nice option for the shower room, especially on a cold March wknd. Didn't have to share my room with any spiders this time, which was a relief (not their season, I guess), and overall my stay was good-excellent. The 2 big minuses were the road noise from Route 9 (tip: ask for a room at the back) and the debris/garbage on the grass/landscaped areas - wish outside was as well-kept as the rooms.
