旅馆地点比想象中更方便

服务中心和旅馆不是同一个地方,不过可以提前在邮件上问当天是否有服务人员在旅馆中,下午4点后我们直接从京都站到达旅馆,有服务人员可以直接checkin不需再去服务中心取房卡了.旅馆地点就在清水寺附近直线走路3分钟距离,公交也在3分钟内,十分方便,门口就是大马路,旅馆对面就有便利店,泡浴时有台小电视可以看.下次来京都还会预约这里的.唯一不足打开微波炉时有上个住户留下的热牛奶,都发酵了特别臭,希望打扫时可以留意一下.

Receptionist needs more professional training

The apartment is in good condition and spotless upon arrival. The downside is the service quality during check-in process. I arrived at the check-in office around 7 pm on 11 April. As I have booked shuttle service in advance, and the last shuttle is to leave at 7 pm, I enquired whether the shuttle has already left. The male receptionist was very rude - instead of answering the question or checking whether I had the booking, he did not believe that I had the right booking. The manner was unacceptably rude and impolite. I could understand that many locals' English ability is limited - but the issue is his attitude, which I never encountered during my many trips to Japan. The bad experience was partly rectified by the assistance of Zeng Peng, and the attitude of property manager.

Room is big with 2 beds that could fit 2 persons each so me and my daughter slept comfortably. However, had the beds been a western single there could be more floor space for luggage and walking. Our bidet was faulty (runs out of water quickly so button had to be pressed often) but I didn’t let that bother me. Location is very convenient, in front of a major street, making me feel like a local but close/walkable to a lot of tourist sites. Lots of convenience stores around and bus stops are 1-2 minutes away. Didn’t use the kitchen but used the washing machine twice. Bring your own pajamas as they are not supplied. Place is very clean, staff are charming, would stay there again

The room was clean and very functional with a washing machine, small kitchen area and drying room in the shower. However if you’re used to peace and quiet ask for a room around the back. Ours was on the busy man road at the front of the building and the traffic roared all night. We had a room for 3 and it was a bit annoying to find the third bed wasn’t made up. It’s in a great location though and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good location, not great room

Good location, but felt a bit worn down and a bit dirty (might be cause of the worn down’ness). We got a room turning towards the road, and the isolation is not great. Staff were pleasant.

We had a good stay at hotel. Family of 4 needed two couch/bed conversions for kids which were a little uncomfortable for kids but they coped. Otherwise room was fine for what we needed. It had a washer and drying room in bathroom which came in hand to wash and dry clothes. Family mart across road was also convenient and walking distance to many local attractions like the shopping streets and Kiyomizu-dera.

Hotel is fine, walking distance to Gion. But there is a big fire station right next to it so you will get fire trucks siren noise 24x7 and especially it's disturbing and loud at night. Also the metro train station is quite a walk.

I recently stayed at Sakura Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, just a short walk from major attractions, which made exploring the area so easy. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making check-in a easy and always ready to help with any questions. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and great amenities. Overall, I would highly recommend Sakura to anyone looking for a pleasant stay. I’m definitely looking forward to returning in the future!

Staff were super helpful and courteous. Very convenient to Kiyomizu-dera and other Higashiyama-Gion temples, shrines, shopping, and Maikoya geisha tea house. Bit noisy (fire station next door), furniture a bit stained and worn, but wonderful at the price. Small kitchenette poorly stocked (now bowls?).
