I have stayed here, a few times. Convenient location. It has generally speaking been fairly good. This time, I got a room on the ground floor suited for handicapped people. But all things considered, well appointed and I did not mind it. However, here is my group. At 1am very noisy crowd of people who forgot what it’s like to actually be in public spaces in the middle of the night. Very loud talking! I got up, got dressed and stepped outside to ask them to speak quietly. Going down the hallway, they were right by the reception area. I would have thought someone may have reminded them of the time, and that they were in a place where voices carried. The loud talking continue as they went up to their rooms continuing on talking as they waited for the lift and walked up the stairs. I could have called or talked to reception, yet if a call is required under those circumstances, service becomes questionable. I would think reception staff had reminded them of where they were. A bit more noise isolation from their regular rooms that has a door separating the bedroom from the hall to the bathroom and then the main entrance door to the room. That made THIS experience sub-par. I guess, I could “enjoy the room” a bit more being wide awake until 3:20a… Just wished staff had been more responsive in handling this this situation considering other guests. That should not require any prompting after hours. Just a principle of good service, I think.
