"For the price, I expected more. The rooms are very outdated, the elevator is extremely small, and the pool is tiny and freezing cold, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the breakfast was good, the air conditioning worked great, and the staff was absolutely wonderful and made our stay much more enjoyable. Overall, there are definitely pros and cons. If modern accommodations are important to you, this may not be the best value, but the friendly service and good breakfast are definite highlights."

It is convenient to walk down to the beach- about 10 minutes past the shops via ramp and then stairs. We had drinks on the balcony next to the restaurant one night and dinner the next night in the restaurant. All fabulous! Would highly recommend!"

"Villa Rosa was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and professional. The premises were modern and well-appointed. Our bathroom shower featured a rainfall head, a separate waterfall head, and a separate hand-held faucet. The balcony/terrace was adorned with large plants as well as a table and chairs as well as chez lounges. Everything was first-rate."

"We LOVED this hotel! This was our first time in Positano and underestimated the amount of stairs there are to get to the hotel. With that said, the location is amazing! We had a balcony, sea view room, very spacious. The hotel has a “porter service” that will take your bags up/down the stairs (fee per bag; worth every penny if you don’t want to burn your legs carrying your stuff). They have an awesome bar and restaurant attached to the hotel with views of the bay and the city."

They answered all of our questions and helped us navigate town. The beach club was awesome and the food was wayyyyy better than we could have imagined.
