Has the potential!

Easy place to stay off of 95! The only issue we had was someone blasting music on our hall at 1AM. When I texted the helpline, we didn’t receive a response. We were happy it didn’t wake the baby, but were nervous about it.

Bedbugs & Horrible Morning Customer Service (8am)

Check-in was easy. The csr allowed us check in early so we didn't have to wait outside for 3hrs. The room was nice & clean (until bedtime). Around 2am, my wife noticed something crawling towards her in the bed. She jumped up, grabbed a napkin &picked it up. She was gonna throw it in the toilet but I we threw it in the sink instead. We took a pic and used Google lens to find out what it was & it turned out to be a bedbug! The csr overnight immediately changed our room. (She was very helpful) The lady at the front desk in the morning (around 8am, Older white female) was rude and tried to argue that it was a cockroach until I showed her the pics. She said it's not their problem and I should contact Expedia. What could've been an easy fix & good feedback has turned into a bad review because of her.

Great stay.

This was a wonderful hotel to stay at. The showers were hot. The bed was comfortable. The pool looked gorgerous. We couldn't get in due to inclement of weather. The lobby was clean. We didn’t eat the breakfast so i dont know how it was. We sat outside in the outside sitting area. It was nice. Right next to a pond. Some ducks were out. The kids played outside in the grass. There is a basketball court so bring a basketball. There was a huge chestboard to play with outside. We don't know how to play chess. The kids played with the pieces. To get to the hotel was also convenient. We enjoyed our stay. Oh the floors in the rooms are hardwood like, so wear socks. Clean rooms and bathroom. Nice view.

A hotel that pays attention to the small details.

This hotel was great. The service was excellent and what I mean by paying attention to small details. It may not be much to some or importance, but I've been doing a lot of traveling over the years. And here in the United States I've been to a lot of hotels but not one that serves grits with their eggs. Please if other hotels will follow it would be nice. Especially how much the price of eggs have skyrocketed like everything else. Including travels but for this hotel I would like to ice the manager. Please give your cook a raise. We met her. We don't remember her name and she the one that says she cooks those grits. So please take care of her. Everybody else was nice as well. Service was great. We'll stay again 10 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟😎

Overall good experience. The bathroom could use some maintenance the grout was moldy on the shower, loose shower fixture and the toilet flush handle stayed down if you did not lift it would run. In the room overall cleanliness was fair. Vacuuming the edges and around the base of the bed was not good. Chaise sofa in room appeared stained. Damaged walls could use paint. Bed was clean and comfortable. I would stay again
