A Great Location

We stayed here as an overnight stopover when driving from Italy back to the UK. It's a pity we couldn't spend longer in Obernai as it is an absolutely gorgeous place. We didn't eat in the hotel as we were meeting friends elsewhere, but the rooms were exactly what we needed and had all the facilities we needed. Overnight parking in the main car park cost just over 2 Euros so no complaints there.

My daughter and I stayed here when visiting the Strausburg Christmas market, it was perfect! A short walk to the train station and we also enjoyed the Christmas market in Obernai. We didn’t have warm water one night but understand it’s an old building. We had THE BEST service from Maude who made up for it by her kindness, she made room for us to have dinner when we didn’t have a reservation one night and went way above and beyond by helping us get our laundry done! Would highly recommend this hotel based on Maude’s service alone!

I loved this place

A simple, quiet hotel with comfortable beds and dark curtains. If you arrive in daylight, you’ll see it’s also beautiful. I arrived at midnight, long after the reception closed, but had an email with the front door code and my key was in my door. Their restaurant was closed 2 of the 3 nights i was there, and i had other plans the 3rd day. But it was packed that night. Breakfast looks good, but I don’t eat breakfast. It’s a beautiful little town, well touristed with the corresponding good restaurants, shops and bars, and Hotel Sainte Obernai is right in the middle of it.

Centralt hotel midt i den mest populære gade i byen. Man kunne simpelthen ikke bo bedre. Ja det er gammelt og lidt slidt. Gulve er skæve osv. Men det skal det være når hele byggestillen er fra gammel tid. Fantastisk sted og glimrende value for money

Emplacement en plein centre d'Obernai, très pratique. Une fois les fenêtres fermées, le bruit de la rue est tout à fait supportable, même le soir de la fête de la musique. La climatisation ne souffle pas sur le lit, c'est très appréciable. Une borne de recharge et un grand parking (gratuit d'après ce que nous avons vu) sont à 5 minutes à pied. Seul petit bémol : nous n'avons pas vu d'ascenseur mais dans notre cas ce n'était pas grave, nous n'avons d'ailleurs pas demandé. Petit déjeuner super, bref, très bonne nuit passée à Obernai.
