Checked in on a busy Friday, seemed like a large wedding may have been happening there that weekend. In any event, I was immediately offered an "upgraded" suite so I took it. I got to the room 1122, and found a dirty room with a hospotal bed looking cot in the living room. My wife was disgusted and said dont even put the suitcase down. I went back to the front desk and was told there were no other rooms and that they would send someone to retrieve the cot. I said the room was filthy, toilet full and clogged, place smelled, disheveled bed linens etc. Long sdtory short, I walked out and checked into the W Hotel across town. I have stayed at this location many times from back when it was under the Ritz flag and later as the Taj Hotel. It has gone downhill in a big way. I will have AMEX reverse the charges because the hotel failed to provide me with a livable room.
