We recently stayed at the Hilton Anatole to celebrate our 15-year anniversary and my 35th birthday, and overall it was a memorable experience. The kids absolutely loved the waterpark — it was definitely a highlight — and the candy store on-site was a nice surprise for them. The restaurant also had gluten-free options, which made dining easier for our family.
Check-in at the front desk went smoothly, and our room had a beautiful view of the waterpark. The elevators were impressively quick, which was convenient given the size of the hotel.
That said, there were a few downsides. Our room stayed pretty warm, even with the AC running, and the bathtub kept backing up with water. The lack of a microwave in the room was also a little inconvenient, especially for families. At $150 per night plus the hold, it felt a bit pricey considering those issues.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially for the family-friendly amenities, but I do wish there had been a little more acknowledgment of our special occasion.
