The hotel needs some updating. It seems a little tired. Everything worked as it should. Room was cleaned daily. We were in a room across the street and the farthest from the lobby. WiFi was iffy. You needed to go sit in the lobby for good WiFi. Time to improve that. We had to carry our bags up to the second floor. We could have used some help. The stay was pretty average. The prices did not reflect the quality of the hotel. The stay was overpriced.

Overall a great stay. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Our room was right next to the laundry room so it was quite loud. The breakfast buffet did not serve real eggs and was very expensive. The WiFi was extremely slow.

This hotel was located in a number of charmingly re-purposed old Dawson buildings. It had a lovely shaded garden with tables, where we enjoyed a picnic. The room I had included a bathroom with grab bars in the tub/shower, a feature that I think should be included in all hotel rooms given the average age of travelers. The main building had good, graspable, handrails on the stairs coming in. Other exterior stairs had signs noting that they could be slippery. Especially if they can be slippery, they need to have handrails that are graspable (round or oval; max 2" diameter) so that they can actually be used to prevent or arrest falls.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are all friendly and great at their jobs. The only real issue with the hotel is the rooms get unbearably hot and there is no air conditioning. It was very hard to sleep due to the heat. I loved the look of the hotel and the rooms were lovely, but I would not stay here again.

Worst stay in the Yukon.

The worst accommodation stay in a long time. No air conditioner available. A poorly working fan was in the room. The air purifier must have needed it's filters changed. With the smoke, we could not open the windows. No fridge in room, no hair dryer in room. Had to ask staff to bring. Wait staff at breakfast was so slow, we ate elsewhere during our stay. I would have expected better for the price and being a huge American company.
