I didn't know what to expect when I booked my stay here for only a few days to try it out. I was truly amazed by the incredible understated elegance of the place. The staff are amazingly proud of their dedicated service to the clients and if you look closely, you can see all the details laid out for you. I found the meal service to be absolutely outstanding in variety and sophistication. Although the place is old, worn and loved by many, the warm water is clean and high quality and worth exploring. The river and nature changes throughout the day. I found the sounds very relaxing and slept very well. It is steeped in history and has a long list of dedicated pilgrims who come at least every year for a week or two and know each other and the staff. This is a real community that will welcome you. If only I had booked a week or two, I could have experienced a deeper and longer relaxation and unwound from the stresses of everyday life. I highly recommend the privilege to stay here as one of my favorite places I stayed on my trip.

Foi uma experiência histórica, pois o imperador e a imperatriz hospedaram-se no quarto 33. Entretanto, exceto a história e a piscina ser razoável, saímos antes pelas banheiras e hidromassagem ser decadente. Comida simples e muitos funcionários públicos usam o local para comer de graca. Governo é incompetente para gerir negócios.

Um hotel construído em meados do século XIX, inaugurado pela Imperatriz Thereza Christina, portanto fora dos padrões contemporâneos, há algumas limitações, mas no geral é uma ótima experiência para banhos termais de boa qualidade. Boa comida em meio à mata atlântica. A equipe de profissionais é gentil, cordial e alegre, isso faz o melhor da estadia.

Não fui atrás de luxo, pois nem mesmo o Plaza oferece o que outrora apresentava. O local é maravilhoso, o atendimento é excelente, a comida, apesar de simples, é muito boa, mas as acomodações deixam a desejar. Uma coisa é simplicidade, outra coisa é desleixo. O quarto apresentava muitos pontos de mofo e tinta descascada, a piscina estava com um piso solto bem na entrada da escada, e a escada, sendo de azulejo, merecia algo que não permitisse que as pessoas escorregassem. Verifiquei que há dias não está funcionando a internet dos quartos, por problemas com o roteador, coisa simples de ser resolvida, mas pendente. Acho que o hotel merece uma melhor manutenção.

O hotel apresenta serviços, a piscina e os banhos com águas termais de alta qualidade. Os serviços são excelentes e os funcionários não medem esforços para agradar o hóspede. Os quartos precisam e estão sendo reformulados. O prédio é tombado (o que impõe algumas restrições à remodelação. A atual administração está há apenas 1 (um) mês comandando o hotel e isso não é tempo para que qualquer ação tenha resultados práticos.
