The stay was a little as expected based on the reviews. The hot water works now, so that was nice. I wouldn't consider it a 4-star hotel as it claims to be, but a nicer 3-star hotel with a nice lobby. The rooms are larger than others you will find in NY/BK, but our bathroom door didn't close all the way or lock, we were out of body wash in the shower, and they don't provide wash cloths? Otherwise it was fine, the clock, telephone and thermostat are all digital and light up the room at night, so we had to unplug/cover it all to not be bothered while sleeping.
We paid a premium price for a busy weekend and I would say it was not worth the $388/night but we didn't have a choice. Always book early if you can!!
The staff was incredibly accommodating and nice and it's not their fault that the hotel is owned by a huge corporation :)
