Was the only place available in Twizel that was available for the dates we wanted, but all good in our Motel unit. Nice surrounding area, short walk to check out the lake.

We actually chose not to stay. Everything felt dingy and we were not expecting so many permanent residents to be staying there as well. After spotting a cockroach in the bathroom we made other arrangements for the night.

The cabins we had did not have ventilation. So either you risk bug infestation or be stuck inside an airtight chamber. What could have helped was bug-preventive screens on either the door or the window or both. That way the windows and doors could stay open.

Room is clean, location is away from town center but next to the river so it is good. Staff is very helpful and polite. The only minor issues is the kitchenette only provides electric fry pan and it is old and dirty. It will be good to provide at less a stove, a frypan and a saucepan

Room was huge, comfortable and affordable with free parking. Everything I needed and loved being right beside the lake, whilst also convenient for Mt Cook National Park, Lake Tekapo and restaurants in town. It felt very safe, relaxed and family friendly.

Lake Ruataniwha Holiday Park was a great choice for our family. The kids had a blast playing in the playground with other kids and exploring the park grounds and the lake. We were surprised by the Rosehip cottage in the best way. The cottage is very spacious with two separate bedrooms, a generous size bathroom and the washing machine was very convenient. We’d definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

The room is a bungalow in a camp site. The room is basically a bedroom. Toilets and showers are separate and common for the rest of the camp site. The bed was comfy. Parking place right in front of the bungalow.

We had Rosehip Cottage, a self contained holiday house. The washer was a big plus. Convenient parking, quiet, clean and spacious. Comfy beds. The property is outside the town of Twizel, a 5 minute drive. We found the wi-fi a little slow.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room - Tekapo - had 2 rooms, one with a larger bed and the other much smaller room with a bunk bed. The space was small but cosy. We appreciated the play area of the kids and the lake is a short walk away.
