The airport was very close to the airport and the metro & train station. I chose it for those reasons as I was running the Lisbon Half Marathon and wanted to have close access to transport and the airport. It's a bit far out of you plan on spending a lot of time in the city centre. The room was very nice and well maintained. Great rainfall shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was very nice with a wide selection of items. Having said that I was disappointed that the breakfast area wasn't opened earlier on the day of the half marathon (the NH hotel in Valencia had offered this which was part of my reason for selecting the same chain in Lisbon). I was offered a picnic breakfast but it was rather underwhelming as an apple, yoghurt drink, a carton of umbongo, and a dry (no butter) ham and cheese sandwich. Considering we were told no late checkout was available on the Sunday because too many half marathon runners were staying and so they felt they could not offer this service then it would have been nice if an early breakfast service could have been offered. I was grateful that they made the health centre showers available to runners after the race when we were collecting our bags
